A Framework for Connection Calculi
نویسنده
چکیده
What is a matrix characterization? We give a formal answer to this question by the deenition of matrix systems. They provide a framework in which all major existing matrix characterizations can be presented uniformly and also support the development of new ones. We describe how to develop a matrix characterization from a sequent calculus. Once a matrix characterization exists, a close relation to possible world semantics supports the development of such semantics for a logic.

Casl Specifications of Qualitative Calculi
In AI a large number of calculi for efficient reasoning about spatial and temporal entities have been developed. The most prominent temporal calculi are the point algebra of linear time and Allen’s interval calculus. Examples of spatial calculi include mereotopological calculi, Frank’s cardinal direction calculus, Freksa’s double cross calculus, Egenhofer and Franzosa’s intersection calculi, an...
متن کاملUsing the TPTP Language for Representing Derivations in Tableau and Connection Calculi
The TPTP language, developed within the framework of the TPTP library, allows the representation of problems and solutions in first-order and higher-order logic. Whereas the writing of solutions in resolution calculi is well documented and used, an appropriate representation of solutions in tableau or connection calculi using the TPTP syntax has not yet been specified. This paper describes how ...
متن کاملTypes and Models for Higher-Order Action Calculi
Milner introduced action calculi as a framework for representing models of interactive behaviour. He also introduced the higher-order action calculi, which add higher-order features to the basic setting. We present type theories for action calculi and higher-order action cal-culi, and give the categorical models of the higher-order calculi. As applications , we give a semantic proof of the cons...

Considering the ever increasing population and industrialization leading to developmental trend of humankind's life, we are hardly able to detect the toxins produced in food products using traditional techniques. In this technique, the production of molecular framework and polymer is done using meta acrylic acid monomers, which are formed via covalence connection between meta acrylic acid monom...
